Wearing a blush Payal Singhal sari, Deepika attended events held last evening. The actor looked great minus two minor grievances… One, the lip color seemed much too harsh for the sari. And two, the super-long pallu that trailed behind on the floor.
Given that Ms. Padukone had quite the busy evening attending three back-to-back events (a Goa tourism event, promotions on Jhalak Dikhla Jaa sets and movie screening), both the sari and the actor held up well!

This is awful, and she clearly looks uncomfortable. Neither the sari nor the blouse does any justice to Ms.Padukone. Her stunning face is the only saving grace!

She looks like a Begum..the high necked blouse with the full sleeve plus the texture of the saree gives a very matronly look. I liked the lip colour though.
Some of these comments are hilarious :). And a bit harsh. The lipstick doesnt fit her skin tone. The earrings are out of place. The pallu is dragging a la red carpet gown. I like the sari color. The lady is gorgeous.
Yuck! Dp has done so much better with sarees. This is a wth for me. Her dressing sense has been going downhill. So many wrong looks .
Both she and Sonam. I for one would like them to off these pages for a while just to let them collect themselves after unleashing horror after horror on us.
Don’t know why actresses go for foundation some 3/4 shares lighter. Even samantha does that

I think DP wore a blush saree for KBC too… dont understand the obsession with this colour coz its certainly not for her! and the make up here is just horrid.

The sari looks ok. The full sleeve blouse merges into the sari with its super long pallu. Foundation on face is not even and she looks tired

Throw stones at me if you will but I think Deepika looks smashing here. I actually love the contrast of the bright lip against the pale sari. Ok so the pallu could’ve been shorter but props to her for not looking overwhelmed in an outfit that would wear so many others.

This is such a a beautiful saree, wish she had draped it better. And I agree with Monika, the charm of the saree is the back of the blouse. Nevertheless, Payal Singhal’s new collection just looks amazing and Deepika Padukone didn’t disappoint at all.

The drape is too sloppy and the saree is aging her. The makeup is hideous. Its a shame coz she is really beautiful. May be it because of the awful foundation and makeup but the lip color is not looking good on her.
I am really bored of her sporting the same style every-time she wears a saree…big hair and bold lips. It has become repetitive now. Even all her casual looks are more or less similar.

Deepika is gorgeous. She looks good in almost anything. She does look great here but I am not a fan of that Sari, blouse, and make-up. It’s a bit overwhelming for me but DP looks like a goddess anyways.
Lesson learnt. Deepika should never copy Asha Bhonsle.
