Deepika did desi at the Screen Awards wearing a black lehenga sari from Jade with jhumkis from Amrapali and a gold toned Bottega Veneta knot clutch. After her recent missteps on the red carpet, this was a much needed turnaround. She looked lovely.

She is looking nice but i don’t like the saree..the bottom black part looks too awkward to me…
+1, the saree should have continued the way it started right down to the bottom 🙂
‘Dull’ is the word that comes to my mind….not a good appearance…looks as if she’s sick.
EXACTLY!!! She looks very dull and unimpressive…
agreed- this is a uninspired and uninspiring look.
So pretty she looks, love the lehanga and the jhumkis..! She is a diva..
I would have preferred Deepika in a glamorous gown. But she looks lovely in Desi clothes.
DP can still do A LOT better. Not really feeling this look!
90% of her Indian looks have jhumki’s! I wish she had something different on her ears this time. Jhumkis make the look very wedding-ish…
take off the embellishments on the sari-voila!! school teacher
Very Sabya vibe to it !! Looking great but an oxblood lip would have help pop the look more
Very dull makeup. Outfit is pretty but it needed better styling.
hate it! So dull so not glamorous at the same time not chic not classy. Why haven’t you posted sonam in Rohit bal. she looked stunning.
There are better pictures than this on the net. Everyone is talking about how the clutch was a gift from the boyf.
I love how chocolatey she has become(From shooting in France for Tamasha I presume) and I loooove how the black looks against that skin. Its only stupid color obsessed people who think it looks dull.
Its also fantastic how just a jhumki and a bindi can instantly make her look so Southie 🙂 (I’m from Bangalore!)
She looks lovely as always
She looks amazing! The jhumki takes it to another level!!
Would have fared much better if the awkward swan patterns on the duppatta were skipped
Deepika is gorgeous, but the outfit and the styling are so old-lady. Dull, drab and extremely underwhelming.
