Deepika did desi at the Screen Awards wearing a black lehenga sari from Jade with jhumkis from Amrapali and a gold toned Bottega Veneta knot clutch. After her recent missteps on the red carpet, this was a much needed turnaround. She looked lovely.

I love how chocolatey she has become(From shooting in France for Tamasha I presume) and I loooove how the black looks against that skin. Its only stupid color obsessed people who think it looks dull.
Its also fantastic how just a jhumki and a bindi can instantly make her look so Southie 🙂 (I’m from Bangalore!)

Deepika is gorgeous, but the outfit and the styling are so old-lady. Dull, drab and extremely underwhelming.
