In Shift
While at a recent movie screening, Deepika was photographed wearing a Shift by Nimish Shah dress. With her hair pulled back in a ponytail, the actor finished out her off-duty look with Nike sneakers and a Birkin. She looked good!

it’s almost like she is trying to prove that she looks good in a sack.
The movie is a serious and grim one. It’s in keeping with the mood/theme.
Whhaaaa? Do you dress according to the mood of the movie you’re going to?
That’s the most bizarre thing I’ve heard.
Hahaha…
Hahaha. People come up with all kind of stuff.
what a horrible outfit. looks like a sewing project with curtain material went horribly wrong. why do people wear these gunnybag dresses
That’s a pretty hideous outfit. Looks like a school uniform sans the belt!
LOVE!
Looks like scrubs.
Deepika is making this outfit look alright. But I’m personally not a fan of the drop waist, the awkward length or the neckline – it looks very matronly from the front – unless of course the designer was going for that look. Also, if this dress is priced above a 100$, it is ridiculous. GAP churns out dozens of these every season for much less – all of which seem to fit this way and also wrinkle the same way.
I am not sure why this is designer wear. If I could quote project runway “bad concept, poorly executed, snooze-fest” of a dress.
Death to Birkin. They kill baby alligators to make that.

So bigger alligator or for that matter other animal skin are okay? Only death to Birkin. What kind of logic people come up with. smdh.
P and P, I’m sorry to be bothering you with this on every social medium but would you consider any posts on the various environmental, social and governance issues that plague the fashion and beauty industry?
I feel this is especially relevant right now given how Jane Birkin asked Hermes to stop using her name on their bags and how Hermes has responded. Also, we have several fast fashion brands which have poor human rights records (like H&M, Zara, Forever21 etc) beginning to gain a foothold in the Indian market. Given this scenario, I feel that you guys could do an awareness post or an opinion poll or even an interview with someone influential (maybe Sonam Kapoor) for HHC. Of course this does not have to mean boycotting any products, but just to let companies know that their consumers care about certain things.
I do understand that the purpose of this site purely to critique celebrity outfits and not about the fashion or beauty scene in general, but your website is very popular. I feel you could use your reach and fan base for some good things.
Thank you!
Looks like a maternity dress.
