In Sabyasachi

Deepika attended the Lokmat Most Stylish Awards on Wednesday evening wearing a floral print sari by Sabyasachi with diamond earrings and flowers in her bun. The sari was nice but the hairdo was a bit of a snooze.

  1. She looked stunning !!!
Let’s forget that middle parted hair do is a part of Sabyasachi thingy but let’s appreciate the over all look that how fantastic it’s been put all together.

  3. She looks fantastic, even though the hair is same old the saree is something different and I like the overall styling. I am liking this new Deepika, she has toned it down so much and its working.

  4. I hate her eye makeup these days! For someone with big bright eyes who could probably pull off the most stunning eye looks us poor hooded eye souls can only dream of, we get this?! There are eye shadow palettes dedicated to sunrises/sunsets/galaxies with the most stunning shades of reds/oranges etc etc then why this?!!

I understand she is in a very sombre/emotional headspace due to Chapaak promotions coming up soon and maybe the current political climate? But why ruin a good makeup moment in a gathering like this ?

She looks so blank/lost in her inner thoughts despite a fairly bright Sabya sari which I attribute to her headspace as mentioned above. She strictly looks well put together.

  5. I love it! The saree and styling are spot on, to me, except for the earrings. Dull gold or copper studs would have really worked better, imo.

  6. Gorgeous. On a lighter note the saree resembles olden days Bombay dyeing/ Satya Paul sarees. I vaguely remember those floral print ads in those days femina or women’s era books!!
