In Monsoori

Deepika attended the unveiling of Cartier’s new collection in Madrid, Spain wearing a white gown by Monsoori and neckpiece from the collection. I don’t really like the gown really but she still looked pretty good in it and credit goes to the color.

Did you love the gown?

  1. Yeah satin and net dont really mesh together. I love her neckpiece!
She looks really good..and carries these risque looks effortlessly.
LV, then Cannes Jury and now Cartier! DP is on a roll and I’m here for it! 🙂

    • Ya Sonam had the flair and love for dressing up like it’s the one thing your there for, she was a fashion pro there. It’s not a comparison but Deepika does look like catching on the fashion thing, as for confidence I guess Aishwarya and Sushmita are unbeatable for representation internationally, they’re really I don’t care about the outfits. Again no comparison but it’s just what I see over the years.

  2. Gotta admit this girl is out to conquer… she’s at all these big events, getting huge luxury brands and doing the biggest movies in BW. I think part of why she’s been having a good fashion run is an inner confidence and spark that’s ignited. The gown is overwhelming but she has made it work!

  3. She looks great without looking ‘forced to fit’. There’s a quiet elegance to her recent international outings that I didn’t see earlier. Unintentionally I keep comparing Priyanka to her.
As for the dress, her personality makes it work!

  4. She’s looking so good that it dissolves all that’s going on with the cuts, layers and all that’s at the mid area of the gown. It’s a beautiful serene color

  5. I think this has become her 2nd signature look. She has done this similar styling in iifa awards 2016. I dont know but in international event she lacks confidence.

    • Unpopular opinion but mostly true: Not just DP, all Bollywood ladies lack confidence in managing international media. Their careers are built on looks and PR so any questions outside of the realm of makeup, clothes, accessories and faux feminism, they would falter.

      • That’s where, I feel Aishwarya Rai made a difference. She was able to connect with international audience and hold her own. She is beautiful and has the ability to represent the country confidentially. Actually, even Kangana Ranaut is a very fashionable and has the ability to speak clearly and eloquently.. but of course few of her statements were unfortunate and not in good in taste.

  6. Deepika is a fab model but sadly thats where it ends for me. she carries off her looks well but never seems to bring any personality. and god help if she’s asked to open her mouth – we’ve all seen her interviews and speeches at Cannes!

  7. That is very insulting! She is a model/actor and shouldn’t be expected to then be professorial on top. I think she is very articulate and thoughtful in her interviews. She comes across authentic and approachable in all her interviews. It is high time we stop bringing women down because they don’t meet all criteria’s on your goddamn list. Some high unattainable bar for females don’t ya think!

  8. She looks lovely notwithstanding the busyness of the gown.

The makeup, the necklace, the neckline and overall styling was too good that I can conveniently ignore the mess of the dress.
