Deepika attended a summit opening ceremony and a panel session later wearing custom Masaba outfits to both. While, she looked nice in both, was drawn more to the black suit here. It also reminded me a bit of Sabya. Just me feeling that way?

It seems both outfits were chosen focusing on convenience.
Both are of contrasting colours, so the photographs will be distinct for as panel vs as an audience.
Also both are hook back straight fit top and bottom, so its easy to slide in and out of them without ruining hair and makeup.
She hasnt over accesorized for both outfits, so quick change in basics and she is good to go.
That’s a good assessment. Functional outfits that don’t scream for attention but serve the purpose.
The trousers on the black suit are not the right length and look poorly tailored.
I think its the length issue. Im a tall girl too. Ready to wear salwar bottoms have to be tied quite under the belly button. That makes the triangle seat go below the desired spot lol. While walking it pulls at the hemline.
These outfits dont seem customized, thats why we are seeing these unfinished touches. Plus those towering heels make it worse.
She looks extremely good neck up but both outfits are drab..
the beige one specially is so dull n washes her out..
Even Deepika cannot salvage the poor Masaba finishes.
Agree with most comments above. That black salwar is so poorly stitched then all I could think was how is she ever going to use the loo with all the pooling
