  1. Same expressions all the pics. Bored of her !
But must admit Anita, Vogue’s director, did a fab job in the cover. Deepika should be really thankful to have her as her personal stylist .

  2. She really seems to favour her left profile, huh? Still, I love it! The cover photo, the prabal gurung and the last photo are all great and her makeup is amazing!

  3. Oooooolalalala hz sizziling smoldering hot she luks!! Major envy just seeing that gorgeous jawline Sigh now for dissecting the outfits Luv that pink Marchesa seems they forgot to give the lil princess a glass shoe even if it was done intentionally I’m not favouring that. Luv the 5th n 6th pic Is it just me or does she not resemble Lady Morgana (Katie McGrath) in Merlin – in the copper goldeny D&G outfit with the crown? Sigh hz gorgeous she looks

  4. Deepika is a stunner. This has to be the most stunning cover so far and I absolutely love the non-dramatic and non-pretentious vibe in the pictures. Kudos to Deepika, Anaita and Prabal. Gotta add Deepika doesn’t need to go theatrical to make an impression the girl got an inherent charm and charisma in photoshoots. Anaita’s styling is top notch for this issue. Love the royal, slight mysterious and the relaxed aura created.

  5. Deepika maybe gorgeous but seriously Vogue there are a LOT more beautiful women out there who we’d love to see on your cover page. Deepika is soooo done-to-death *yawn*

  6. One of the best we have in the fashion/film industry who gets it that it is the whole package (outer image/fitness/fashion/persona) that needs to be worked on, and not propel based on a pretty face alone – and hope her high keeps getting higher. With regards to the profiles showcased in this shoot, would think that would be the photographer’s/editor’s call.

  7. will someone tell the vogue team to please not photoshop their cover girls so much.. Deepika’s body resembles a barbie doll!! no shadow, no texture..looks absolute plastic..since when did it become uncool to have human skin look like human skin!!

  8. must say the makeup is just perfect..love that golden corset.
but some of the poses are bit repetitive n odd…the cover pic needs a different crown.the Victorian crown is too overwhelming..
the background n props are bit boring! n photography too..

  9. Nyah… it’s just another shoot, could be from some film magazine not Vogue… wish they’d done a tongue-in-cheek Sofia Coppola take on “queenly”… offhand I can think of more striking scenes than these.

  10. I love her. That being said this was VERY boring. Any more of her left profile and I will be able to see it every time I shut my eyes. And she looks beautiful (especially in the last picture) but also very insipid somehow (not something I would describe her as) almost like some sort of a wax doll. The clothes are very..ornate and elaborate but nothing seems to really strike you. I assume a lot of money/labour and time went into this but to be honest it seems rather low on creativity, a little stale and all together blah.

  11. STOP OD’ing ON DEEPIKA, VOGUE! Agreed she’s gorge…but there are so many other talented actresses, musicians, models and socialites…Other than that, have seen better editorails from Vogue. Not one of Anaita’s best…

  12. nothing against deepika (and she is gorgeous here, as she is everywhere i presume, even after changing a tyre i bet) but would it kill vogue to put somebody on the cover that ISNT a size 0 and NOT photoshop her body to a size smaller?

and the most important September issue went to Deepika, deservedly so.
I can’t imagine anyone else on this cover and the shoot pics. good work, and yet, please do shoot her in other angles, you guys at Vogue did the same in her last year’s swimsuit cover shoot- meaning same profile shots.
