Deepika attended the opening ceremony of MAMI Mumbai Film Festival on Thursday evening wearing an off-shoulder tiered tulle gown by Giambattisa Valli. She sure looked lovely!
I also have to add that I really loved that she wore her hair up in a textured updo versus the sleek middle-parted ones that she has been sporting of late.
On an aside, she probably doesn’t realize it yet but the hands on the front pose is going to have the media going bonkers with pregnancy rumors. 😛

I really really wish she would wear something sleek and elegant. Like clean lines, clean silhouette. I’m tired of her poofy over the top dresses.

I love her hair and makeup. This sort of minimal and pretty makeup suits her a lot as does the pulled back soft textured knot. I’m not sold on the gown and wish it were a sleek version in the same pink and black combo.
On an aside, I think the pregnancy comment is just silly and if you don’t want her subjected to the rumor mill like that, it’s a good idea to may be not mention it on your own blog at all.

Nice hairdo… tulle is nice but the black bust part looks too stark. She has recently stated that she is too committed to work now , so no plans of baby.
Just for her hair – this is an absolute thumbs up!! She looks great. Its a poufy, tiered, tulle gown – she looks like she is having fun.
After many many attempts she’s got the look right.. looks dreamy. Also looks a lot like she’s placed on a pink soft soap bubble/froth
I’m not a prude or anything but from the pictures that are straight ahead and you can see the front of her dress, it looks like the dress is about to slip off her chest. It’s really low and I feel like she’s showing way too much cleavage.
why so many dislikes? I just dont think her dress was really appropriate either

On another note, she is a designer’s dream – who else has the body to carry off these unorthodox dresses? Maybe that’s why she loves experimenting and some experiments are bound to fail.

Its a good look but I think Deepika has enshrined “go big or go home” philosophy. Almost every time she’s dressed a little more than the occasion demands.
So suddenly she goes MJ….how did her dusky complexion vanish. And why. Sad !

I feel like she dresses keeping mind how it’s going to look in Instagram photoshoots not considering the fact that there is a red carpet and event to attend later. She was totally overdressed here, everybody else was really understated.b

Finally new hair and make up. But the dress has been done million times on red carpet now. She should try different and edgy dresses rather then these oh so repetitive looks. She looks beautiful nonetheless.
