Deepika attended promotions for her movie on Monday and was seen wearing an orange knit dress by David Koma featuring yet another cross front detail. The outfit felt a tad OTT, I thought.

The dress is not too horrendous per say, it suffers from unflattering cut outs and ribbing. But I think even that could be salvageable if not for the poor accessory and footwear choices. That being said, lovely smile and a lovely color on her!
I guess it’ll be the same dress in yellow next…jokes aside, these angles are pretty unflattering and the high-low train thing isn’t really working either. I really wish she had a better stylist.
Ewww the outfit looks, for lack of a better word.. very cheap. something about the fabric color and cutout, and the flashy gold earrings just make it worse. DP could do SO much better.
And for some reason, (and maybe this is just me), the under boobage is completely not working for me. it gives me the creeps every single time the girls do the peek-under-boo :))

At least in the grassy lawn settings, a khadam would have been easier to move around than a stiletto. Deepika helped aerate the lawn…

Love the color against her skin tone. The styling is pretty good too. That said, the dress is too badly decide to warrant a comment. It looks bad on Deepika, enough said! Loving her smile here though!

Gorgeous color on her.. and that’s that. Too brown make up, clashes with the orange, also the whole cutout on bust is giving a very mish mash look, appears hunched. Black shoes didn’t help at all
If u see the videos she cud barely walk in those heels and was hunched up . Why wud a statuesque woman wear such an unflattering outfit is beyond me !
Seeing this reminds me of the neck-patterns of DP’s and Ananya’s dresses on the trailer launch. And makes me wonder if both the ladies are going to be sporting these kind of designs for the entire promotions.
I don’t know about Ananya but DP definitely go through phases in clothes and this time it seems to be cleavage on display/ Cuts around décolletage. Earlier it was casual wear- sweats and Joggers.
Didn’t like the outfit but that colour does wonders for her! Neck up, love the hair and make up carried by that gorgeous smile…anyways she fared far better than the disaster that Anaya was wearing or whatever that was left..it’s not been featured on these pages yet..
The entire ensemble is a bit disconnected . Like them as individual pieces not in combination .
Kinda tacky. But the biggest eyesore is those black pumps with that outfit. She should’ve gone with gold ones.
With that height, body and face, DP’s a clothes horse. so even the tackiest of things look redeemable on her. overall, a terrible look and esp. bad choice of footwear and earrings (hellooooo 90s). but at least she carries it with ease. Ananya wore a tiiiiiny bandeau top at the same and was clearly so uncomfortable — kept pulling it up the entire time. then why wear it. *rolls eyes*

The color is gorgeous on her. Everything else is horrible. Black shoes are so jarring against that fun orange dress.
The title of the film relates to the depths to which Bollywood fashion has fallen. Deepika is a naturally beautifully woman so her face is the only saving grace.

These are unflattering pics to say the least. If you’re going to cover a look at least put a mix because those pics are easily available on social media. Big gold hoops are a thing now so its on trend. While this is not her best look, the pics don’t here do justice.
I’m no fashion expert by any means but even I can see that the orange colour doesn’t go with black heels. They just cancel out each other’s appeal in the worst way. And yeah, not a fan of that dress at all, it’s all confused just like Deepika’s stylist.
The black shoes are a downer.. if she could lose them for a simple open toes sandals or even something in golden shimmery colours.. but she looks good overall.. Glad that her skin colour shows through n she isnt lightening it these days !
