In ArdAzAei

Day 2 of Cannes saw Deepika attend a panel session at the India Pavilion wearing a black jacket and pant set from the Swedish label, ArdAzAei, paired with Cartier’s Panthère neckpiece. It sure made for a striking look. I loved. Also loved her Louis Vuitton look that she wore to jury dinner on Monday evening. Catch it inside.

  1. The panel session look is interesting only because of the statement neckpiece. Makeup is great. Only the hair is weird. But overall good styling.
The LV look is really nice… The boots and makeup are great… esp love the hair. <3. Reminds me of her Cocktail movie styling.
I still miss Anaita as DP's stylist.

    • Yes….I wish the hair was heat in that black look…It would have ben a 10/10 look. But Dp goes through phases….It’s either tight neat buns or messy buns..hehe

  2. Black jacket is wow
.. just wish the pant were trouser style and not legging/tights type.

The white lining made the LV dress meh for me.

  3. Her make-up artist is failing her terribly. It simply doesn’t photograph well. She looks tired. Both outfits are easy on the eyes otherwise

    • I felt that too, make up Looks patchy/greasy or it’s possibly the summer sun causing dampness on skin but something is off

    • The makeup is not the issue it is just that we are seeing some non-filtered photos from Getty etc. Skin texture or dark circles (only concealable to a certain extent when jetlag) or glistening in the sun (specially if oily/combo) is completely normal and expected in outdoor events even with celebrities doing several touch-ups throughout the day.

It seems off because we mostly see filtered paid paparazzi photos for the most part but its prob just the no filter looks. I kind of like Getty images for that.

  4. Love the pantsuit- necklace combo with that burnt orange lipstick. She looks fab! I am not 100% sold on the white slip with the LV dress but she still looks great and makes it work. I do find LV clothes kind of cookie cutter in the way that they are styled. Like every other celeb in their recent show was wearing the exact same boots as Deepika is and I’m sure it’s something mandated by the label (or the boots could be LV).

  5. Also god I love the Cartier Panther collection ever since Sothebys put The Duchess of Windsors personal collection up. It is legit so timeless and at the same time a bit edgy.

  6. Black Suite: she looks fabulous. Makeup is a bit much in some of the pics, but I think it’s the photographer’s fault :).
Dress & boots looked are perfect!

  7. She looks great in the pantsuit but her make up doesn’t get photographed well in certain lighting.

The LV look is phenomenal. Nothing to fault there. She is glowing like a star out there!

  8. Love the LV look! She looks smashing.

I didn’t like the pants in the pantsuit look, the top portion of the pants looked very snug which threw the proportions off, may be it was a bad angle? (3rd pic)

  9. What is with the awful hair style. The LV dress is the only outfit , hair and make Up I have liked. The rest are plain awful

She is so gorgeous , must take a lot to make her look so bad. I compare this to her photo on the cover of Allure magazine, it was just terrible

    Completely disappointed

    • Totally-Getty is the real deal. Untouched is why everyone is complaining about the makeup looks – heavy makeup plus skin texture plus sun is not a good combo on oily skin or any for that matter. On a normal day in Cannes, ladies are in “beach” makeup

    • Her red caroet photos were unedited and one can see her natural skin texture and her makeup was melting or she was sweating through face. We are use to watching them through their edited insta pictures.

  10. Just make any thing and call it great because it is LV. What is there in the 2nd look? I can get fabric like that and sew in 2 straight lines too.
