Promotions of Bajirao Mastani today saw Ms. Padukone in an Anju Modi sari from the designer’s latest couture collection paired with earrings from Amrapali. It’s a look we’ve seen her do many time and do it well.
No change here. She looked pretty here as well.

A fail proof, safe look from Deepika. Glad she isn’t trying too hard like she did with her Tamasha promo outfits.

Hmm, I didnt get the Sabya vibe at all, except in the way she has styled her hair and make up.
The saree and blouse looks totally different froma Sabya and over all looks and feels much lighter. Even teh fabric and emboridery on the saree, and the lack thereof on the blouse makes it so different from a Sabya!
Yes I totally agree with u. The styling is similar to previous looks where she’s worn similar colours of sabyasachi. But this is so not sabyasachi. It’s lighter and the work isn’t as intricate.
I like this saree and blouse. I don’t mind to have it in my wardrobe, if it finds it’s way into my wardrobe. 🙂

Not sure if its really used for that tiny choti in Marathi/Bombaiyya lingo, we only used it for “Shendi laga raha hai”, or mostly like a tail.

Such a pretty woman. Like some one else mentioned it looks like a Sabya. If the blouse was any different and the sari was the same , I would have thought it was MM. All the net sarees from all the designers look similar.

Even though she’s done these looks to death and looks exactly the same each time (gorgeous, but the same), I’d take these any day over the ‘quirky’ ones she tried in Tamasha promotions.

Yes I can take this over many other things happening on this site in the name of experimentation. There is nothing wrong in repeating the same style if it looks this classy.
As delicate and beautiful as she looks I am dying to see her in colour. It’s like she’s always wearing white and grey and beige. I know it compliments her. But I want to see some bright reds and purple and fuchsia. She’s starting to look too pale and lifeless.
