Latest round of movie promotions had Deepika wearing an Alexandre Vauthier tuxedo dress. With her hair pulled back in a sleek do, she rounded out the look with a chunky choker, strong red lip and pair of minimalist Gucci sandals. She worked every bit of that look; Deepika looked great!

Reminds me strongly of a look on Rihanna a while ago, Deepika looked so good in Instagram pics of this look but on road (practical wearing) it’s quite a desperate attempt.

I want to like ID some Blake lively looks that I think are in this realm but elevated in a sophisticated way to like illustrate what I want out of this look but can’t copy paste so some edits: innerwear as outerwear great, but do it with cigarette pants here for heightened look. Or do the short mini tuxedo dress but do a sheer high neck top or a button down. Basically do one or the other for more impact. Do both the lingerie top and the short tuxedo dress and the proportions look off.

I personally think to be the “sexiest” you also need to have a very interesting mind. Wit & intellect & humour is sexy, alongside physical attributes. That’s just my opinion, of course.
Yes, you are right. Many different attributes constitute attractiveness to different people. I do admire Deepika’s confidence though, especially within our culture that shames women for displaying a great body.

The dress would look better if the both the top and bottom werent so open. So either no slit on the bottom-though the slit adds edginess to the dress. Or no innerwear showing on the top, though i like that too. I cant put my fingers on it, but I immediately thought “too much skin”. I love her makeup and hair but would also have picked a ponytail as someone said above. The cuban link looks good.

i might be in minority but this looks like too much effort has gone into it.. make up slathered on, red garish lips and greasy hair is somehow not doing it for me. She is beautiful as is and can easily come across powerful without having to resort to such make up and hair tricks.. plus this isnt a day look.. ! it can pass off on the red carpet or in a photoshoot..but not as such .. btw am a deepika fan here.
I think this model stance is now getting to me.. every outfit doesnt need this legs wide – leaning back stance.. esp short tight ones.. it looks great for a magazine centrefold.. not so much in real life
