Deepika attended the Asiavision Awards last weekend in Sharjah wearing a white Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla sari with diamond and emarald drop earrings. With the jacket not being floor-length, can’t say I found it to be very effective but my bigger issue was with the hairdo. A softer do was much needed here.

Hate this one boob out style she has been adopting for her promotional looks, not to mention how tacky the overall outfit looks as well.

A white saree with what looks like a moth-eaten cape, and oily hair to top it all off. Its good her face is so drop-dead gorgeous, else we would be laughing and pointing.
All her goddess characteristics notwithstanding, the hairdo appears painful for the scalp..and the jacket reminds me of a Pomeranian!0

She is in a hair and makeup rut. In almost all of her recent appearances, I see her in the same middle parted severe look, either a bun or a ponytail. Her stylists need to realize that this look ages her.
+100 I’m baffled as to why she’s stick with these hideous unfaltering severe hair styles that do absolutely nothing for her! They age her so much

She looks beautiful. Stunning, even. She wears the whole look very elegantly.
With so much layering and embellishment, there is no way a puffy hair-do would have worked. The nitpicking on these pages about the sleek hair borders on bullying, yet again.

Playing the role of a Rajput queen who had a beautiful brown skin and she falls prey to the diktats of showbiz that seem to howl that only fair is beautiful..

I am tired of seeing Deepika in white/off-white/beige saris.
I have a hard time remembering any of her sari appearances that aren’t white, except for a few , like the green one she wore recently or the red raw mango.
Granted, she looks great in such monochrome looks (why wouldn’t she!!?) , but I would love to see her embrace color.
Wats the point of the cape if it’s gonna stop halfway?? It looks so silly with the sari. Wish the embellishment on the cape was on the sari instead. No issues with the drape, how else would the blouse be seen? Not sure why everyone is such a prude when it comes to the sari drape.
