Dascha, who stars in Orange Is The New Black, attended the GLAAD Media Awards on Saturday night in NYC wearing a black velvet mini with an Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla long jacket.
Letting the ornate jacket be the highlight of the look, she finished out the look with a sleek ponytail, a textured box clutch and nude sandals. You’ll remember Aishwarya wearing the long jacket as a gown here.
What I like about Dascha’s look is that in wearing the jacket with a dress, she makes the former a statement piece of an overall outfit than the outfit itself. That made the jacket feel less overwhelming.
If we had to tweak anything about this look, it would be the clutch. Don’t like it one bit.

Dascha looks good! She knows the right way to carry this, as against Aishwarya Rai in that outfit. It looked hideous on the latter.
I think the jacket is also overwhelming.. it actually makes her look even more broad around the shoulders coz it’s so heavy / bulky.
Love the ppairing of that jacket with a dress. I wear mine similarly even though mine is printed and cotton. But I don’t think it suits her.Makes her look too broa,d as person above, mentioned.
