In Tarun Tahiliani

She walked for the designer recently at Wills Fashion Week and so it isn’t a surprise to see Chitrangda in a Tarun Tahiliani anarkali.

Considering her appearances come few and far between, it just makes us happy to see her make one. But, to be more objective, the belt on the anarkali feels too big.

  1. everything is acceptable but the fact that the shall is stuck in the belt is no way acceptable…it gives us a dress feeling more than an anarkali…

  2. I always think of a dupatta as a flowy thing. As far I am concerned, you dont need your dupatta in a belt as long as you are not performing kathak.

On a different note, I am totally getting Chanel SS 11 vibes from her anarkali.

  3. The only explanation is that the dress was loose at the waist….and so she had to cinch it with the belt to give it a more fitted look….its just an explanation…by no way i condone the use of a belt for anarkali…peace

  4. She looks so pretty (as usual); but with the belt and everything, the outfit just looks so overwhelming on her! She looks awkward and very very uncomfortable.

  5. She’s drop dead gorgeous, but this look is edgy gone flat. It could’ve been fierce warrior princess, if the fabric had richer detailing and construction.

  6. you’re kidding right? that anarkali is too long, the belt is ridiculous, tucking the dupatta in is a joke.. and there is just way too much going on.
