In Rajat Tangri

It was a lime-green Rajat Tangri pleated dress for Ms. Singh at the unveiling of the May edition of Vogue India featuring her on the cover. Love the pink pumps against the lime but the fact that it was a satin pair makes this look an Almost. (Hate hate hate satin shoes!)

Catch her in Burberry Prorsum on the May cover inside.

  1. love the colors but the fitting is unbearable..like..really!? the cover disappoints too, they whitewashed her so much. n that dress..ugh such a waste!its got so much punch and energy on the runway. but on the cover, she looks like she rolled over on a bedsheet.

  2. She’s very pretty and generally dresses well….except for her shoes! even if they look nice, the chunky platform always seems to ruin the look for me. (the only exception is the pair of black heels with the contrast gold platform during the desi boys promotion tour…that outfit was fab 🙂

    • agree – cant recognize her! She is a stunning woman, Vogue, no need to photo shop her beyond recognition… and what’s with the fish lips on her……

    • LOL!!!…my thoughts the same …if the want to picture the actress on the cover , at least let her b recognizable before photoshoping her so much

  5. I thought only bridesmaids wore satin shoes…cause they have no option! We need to see the back, but the leopard print peeping out at the front tells me it’s not going to be pretty.

  6. whats the leopard print-ish thing on the green dress..part of the dress?? almost looks like as if the bra is showing..is it me or does the bangle/ bracelet seem way to big..and if she looks that fair then i guess i am Caucasian!

  7. She is a beautiful woman but is that really her on the vogue cover? the caption on cover says “like you have never seen her before” – that is literally true!

  8. That definitely does not look like Chitrangada on the cover!!! What a shame!! Such a beautiful looking woman…. and a true ‘dusky’ beauty, spoilt by photoshop… Who ever forgot that this was the cover of vogue ‘India’ and we can live without this kind of ‘whitening’… They’ve really got this one wrong. Love the dress though!

  9. I agree with most of the people here, the cover sucks. Not only did they make her sooo much lighter than she is, the dress is not a dress for sitting down. It looks like a blob. That’s the kind of outfit you do in an editorial…standing up. Could’ve been so much better!!

  10. Vogue may as well have used priyanka or deepika or sonam or even a second rung actress or model since with photoshop, they anyway change the person’s features and ruin her beauty, making them all look like clones. why waste money on top actresses. also, the dress on the runway is stunning. if u dont knw how to use clothes while shooting, stick to regular boring gowns, dont ruin such fantastic outfits.
