In Manish Malhotra

Celina attended a benefit concert on Wednesday night in New York wearing a fresh off the LFW runway Manish Malhotra lehenga.

Now, I may not be a fan of the lehenga itself, particularly the stitched dupatta but it was nice to see her go desi for the event.

  1. I like the Lehenga and also the stitch of the dupatta. It’s very elegant. The lehenga looks very chic and almost like a gown making it very event appropriate yet unique.

  2. I think she looks incredible even though this is manish’s most boring collection ever. That said, SOOOO proud of her for wearing a desi outfit by an indian designer!! props woman!

  5. I do like the color and I think the the “western” splinter of this Desi look. It has an evening gown effect. But I don’t like the way the duppatta is draped. But Celina still manages to look lovely.

  6. Thank God she is pretty…The only thing working in this look is her face! Im embarrassed that this tacky outfit is what the world will see of indian designer clothes.

  7. I like the concept of stitched duppata coz I get so frustrated trying to manage the heavy embroidered duppatas of Indian outfits…nevertheless i don’t think that outfit is sooo bad as reflected by above comments and Celina looks great. Grey/Silver always looks good on her maybe as it matches the colour of her eyes 🙂

  8. Very pretty lady. Let’s ditch the bare midriff look once we cross 30. Even if you have washboard abs, most faces cannot handle this look which is 20 something appropriate. This lehenga could have been an elegant sari, perhaps.
