Sari Style?

Another day, another Jashn sari. Except, do we like? Not quite. The ombré sari with the peacock print blouse is much too overwhelming. What say you?

Update: This was a Neeta Lulla sari per Celina’s tweet.

Well i give up on her make up and eyes. But otherwise, its a decent look.

Plus she could have avoided the half boob job.

  1. Not that bad…..Its different and not overwhelming at all.
That old-english ladys torn-fabric jacket was overwhelming that everybody liked.

  4. i like each of these pieces, but, yes, separately. but still, given celina’s previous outfits, this one is still quite muted, although minus points for the draping up top.

  5. I think it’s much more mellow than some of the other occasions when she has worn saris. Not as bad as she has been, so many times before this.

  6. I’ve seen both better and worse! I do like the colors paired with the peacock – at least it looks like they were made to be worn together. Not my personal style, though!

  7. Such a breathtakingly lovely sari…! Normally I dont like blue but i would love to wear this one.

I like the pattern of the blouse although not so much the one-boob look…. which I suppose was the only way for her to show off the peacock print…

You have a great life Celina,,,,you ought to smile a little !

  8. I actually dont mind it…would have been better had the saree not had the various shades of colors..just the 1 single blue would have looked even classier..but I still dont mind it…

  9. I love the colors of the saree –it’s beautiful! Surprisingly, I like the feather pattern on the blouse too…just not this particular blouse itself. Celina is looking better than I remember seeing her in a long time.

  10. There are so many things wrong with EVERYthing about her look. First of all, ditch the contacts! 2ndly, if you’re promoting a sari brand, could anyone have stepped in and tied on her properly? 3rd, really, tone down that poofy hair and geeez… just stop it with all that makeup! someone please tell her on my behalf, Less is so much more!!!

  11. The sari itself is lovely indeed. It could’ve been taken to new heights if carried well. Pity it should be Celina with her OTT sense of style!

  12. The saree is actually nice, and there is no problem with the draping, its the fabric which makes it fall like that. And the blouse, hmm… may be it would better if it were not so heavily PADDED.

  14. I love the way the colors in the saree flow and meld. But I wish Celina hadn’t worn it. It doesn’t look good with that awful blouse and those God-awful contacts.

  15. If you look carefully, in the third pic – the edge of the pallu does have some peacock pattern going on. That way the blouse is not totally mismatched. The saree is lovely and is one of the few in this genre that combines the colors well. Celina as usual spoils a nice saree by wearing it pathetically. Is wearing the pallu properly over one’s chest considered rustic or outdated? The way she’s wearing it only screams ‘cheap’. And no comments about that ghost-like expression sans smile that seems to be her default.
