In Mandira Wirk
It wasn’t just Mandira Bedi who came to Wirk’s show to lend her support, celebrities came in droves and they were all dressed in clothes straight out of Mandira Wirk’s SS 2010 Collection!
From what we see, none of these lil’ draped numbers look particularly flattering on either of these ladies nor are they easy on the eye.
P.S: Malaika Arora Khan walked for Mandira Wirk in that dress.

cant believe everyone is looking good n also everyone’s dress are soo nice n color r too good
i m so much loving Sophie’s pumps… 🙂
I like Kalki in her dress. The rest look like they’re dressed in elaborate curtains.Malaika as usual looks like if she shows enough leg/cleavage or both,it’ll distract from the dress.
The ladies are not entirely to be blamed for the drapes; the designers need to check out the drapes of Junya Watanabe and Haider Ackermann. Please look up to designers like Comme Des Garcons, Maison Martin Margiela, etc who create original, innovative, intellectual and fashion forward designs. The rest of the so called big international fashion houses also take inspirations from them.
gosh, all the dresses look supremely awful! this is what happens when a design trend (draping) becomes the raison d’etre of a collection: there’s no aesthetic reason for these dresses to be draped!
Malaika looks so washed out in that color..
Except for Malaika’s dress, I find the other dresses weird in terms of the drapes.Pooja Bedi’s si also fine but makes her look plump.
OMG I heart what Kalki is wearing. Everyone else’s is pure urgghh. Esp. Wirk herself.. wtheyyy *is* THAT ??? A half-dhoti ? 0_0
LOL! Agree about the half-dhoti. May be she got the inspiration from what the guys in Kerala wear for Kalari fights.
You are 100% right, these clothes arent at all easy on the eyes.
Agreed. But if I had to choose one, it would be Kalki minus the chain (or whatever that is) across her shoulder. Shonali looks gorgeous, but not too sure about the neckline. And Malaika really needs to cover up!
hey guys why no Pics of Fashion week… and the designers collection … waiting to see them, plz post pics!
i think sophie looks great for once.her face is simple not puffy the way it is usually.and the drape is lovely all on her.and i think it’s great she paired that dress with those nude pumps
alrite she might be good at draping…but here all the draping seems too forced n ott…she took the cocept way too far…all the dreeses seemed straight frm project runway wher the contestant is tryna show how skilled he is…
dresses from this collection look wierd! just cloth draped here and there.. no style!
Seem heavily inspired by the lanvin draping trend.. and no – they are nowhere close to being as fabulous as the lanvin dresses..
eeks, most of these look like dhotis !
Can you please NOT feature Sophie for some time!!! I sick of seeing here everywhere!!
Oh my! These dresses are all pretty darn awful! I would say Malika Arora’s is the least worst but that’s just looking at it in comparison to the others…Terrible!
Hmm..2 words: Donna Karan.
Very heavily inspired from her previous collection. Agree?
So atrocious- Horrid fabrics, horrid colours, even more horrid draping. Insane and senseless draping does not a couture designer or garment make. Blech.
Why would all of these ladies come to a show where they would not only be assulted by aesthetic horror, but have to literally imerse themselves in it as well?
Mandira Wirk must be really, really, really, really nice. Either that or she makes good food/ gives good birthday presents.
that’s funny…about ms.wirk
Malaika’s looking good-like the peach/coral colour. Love Sophie’s pumps. The Collection is just plain silly….
A very disastrous collection ,SHOWING THE poor aesthetic sense of the designer who managed to show us that just how a preety/face n figure can look ugly/funny just by wearing wrong type of designs/clothes
hw can sme1 mke crap like tht , n donn it on such a figure as malaika arora , who has still possibly carried it , in a diva way … thumbs up to her for such a brave step !!
