Doing Denim- Part Deux!

For her appearance, Neelam glam’ed it up in a Dolce and Gabbana shirt which she paired with denims. Black accessories which included peep-toe pumps, Chanel bag and Hermes belt completed her look. Namrata on the other hand, did the more casual, preppy look by pairing a green light knit with a button-down and shirt and light-wash denims. She finished her look with a red Dior bag and animal-print heels.

Two very different looks in denim and green. And while we aren’t fawning over either, it’d be safe to say Namrata had far less success than Neelam did with her look. The (Namrata’s) bag and the shoes killed it for us.

At Tommy Hilfiger relaunch party in Hyderabad, both Shazahn and Sarah were in attendance. While one did a more younger and cutesy look relatively, the other did a more grown-up, sophisticated one. Question is, who worked it?

For two recent events, Ira gave us two very different looks, one in a draped dress and the other in leather skinnies. While she did look great at both events, I especially liked her in the dress… It’s not something we’ve seen her before in and, she works it! Only thing I’d probably change would be the necklace which just isn’t working for me. I’d either replace it with stacked bangles instead or, just go jewelry-less entirely.

Sari Style: Part Deux

We may not have cared much about the sari and the blouse on Kangna but we are irked by the way she wore it. And if the draping wasn’t bad enough, the stilts, oops, we mean platform sandals made the look much worse.

Here’s a tip to making sure a sari doesn’t look too high. When starting to wear the sari, wear the heels you intend to wear it with. This way you can account for how more/less you have to tuck and you get the hem to just graze the floor.

Too high a hemline doesn’t really make for a good look. Sari or otherwise.
