We know these ladies are good at what they do. Babita’s and Anita’s recent collections were very good and anyone who can dress up a whole film crew in authentic periodic costumes gets my vote. But, why is that these ladies can talk the talk but can’t really walk the walk.

WTHeyyy is Ms. Malkani is wearing? Harem pants-cum-skirt?
Having seen a beautiful outfit on Tisca just yesterday, why are we seeing Ms. Dongre in churidar-leggings that are so glaringly uneven?
Why-oh-why is Ms. Lulla wearing a gown that is not figure friendly? (And here I am pointing to the top half.)

So many questions that I have no answers to. Tsk Tsk.

(Just to clarify, I’ve seen designer dress wacky but their collection is out of the world. These ladies come in the picture only because we’ve seen them put an effort into how they dress at events. And yet, fail.)

If this was a PR event, I would have gushed over this appearance of Katrina. I love the pairing of the cream dress with the gold sandals and no-jewellery look. A really simple look that works wonders for Ms. Kaif.

Except, let’s not forget this was a wedding reception.

It may seem like just about everyone wore churidaar suits at this wedding reception but there were some who donned the sari.

You’ve got to forgive me for automatically associating this kind of sari with a certain Ms. Patel but thankfully Kim shows us that you can still wear it well. She also gets added points for wearing mogra.

As for the other two, one lost me with the big-bullseye-bindi and the other with the tacky OTT color.

P.S. Kim is carrying the Jimmy Choo Candy clutch in silver.

Two shades of blue was seen in two different styles on these two ladies. Even though, new mom Amrita’s outfit is more my style, I still liked Genelia’s blue and yellow cheery but simple combo. Dig either or neither?
