In Masaba

Regina lent her support to Masaba at the latter’s store opening in Hyderabad wearing contrasting separates from the label. Considering I’ve been eyeing this style in the cobalt blue and grey for a while now, I might be a bit biased in the fact I like the pieces.

Having said that, while Regina looked nice, the fringe earrings feel a bit too heavy for the look. Studs might have worked better.

In Payal Khandwala

Rani made an appearance at the Kala Ghoda Arts Festival on Sunday wearing separates from Payal Khandwala. Normally, we almost always like a Payal Khandwala sighting but between the ironed pants, the unnecessary cuff and the makeup, we didn’t like this one.

Did you?

Pretty In Pink?

At a press meet recently, Jacqueline was seen doing pink in a Ralph Lauren shirt, printed Peter Pilotto skirt and her Valentino Rockstud sandals.

She makes the separates work but I would’ve preferred a tee with the skirt. Like the monochromatic look?

In Pankaj and Nidhi

At the screening of her movie, leading lady Angira was seen wearing a Pankaj and Nidhi dress with ankle-strap sandals. Part of me would’ve liked to see a skinny choker to go with the off-shoulder dress but I guess because it was so done to death a few years ago, nobody wants to go near it anymore.

Having said that, she looked nice nevertheless. Looking forward to seeing more of her on these pages.

In Marks & Spencer

Sapna attended a special Marks & Spencer collection preview wearing printed separates from the high-street label with white pumps. She looked good.

Having said that though, its really odd to see the high-street brand take on DVF’s very recognizable print. One normally sees a bit of change up but I don’t see much here.
