While we didn’t like Lara’s look much from her appearance at the Louis Vuitton store in Dubai (see inside), love the black Pre-Fall gown that she wore to the screening of ‘Blue’ at MEIFF.

While I loved the semi-casual Saif from yesterday, not really digging his blue velvet sherwani look one bit. On the other hand, loved Kareena in the light pink lehenga. I guess, I am just tired of seeing too much of the Malhotra orange/maroon/gold work! 😛

Malaika attended a bash hosted by Shah Rukh Khan wearing a Marc by Marc Jacobs Joelle Scalloped Dress seen also on Leighton Meester in ‘Gossip Girl’ and Paris Hilton. The scalloped dress isn’t a favorite of mine but I am curious to see how Malaika wore it. Too bad, we don’t have full-length pics yet and probably won’t.

Both ladies chose to wear Manish Malhotra saris while attending the designer in question’s show during the Couture Week and it really was no contest, Sri outshone Sophie by a mile.

Velvet isn’t our thing but we’d take Sri’s sari anyday over Sophie’s OTT one.

Most of the time I am disappointed by Amrita because she never makes enough of an effort to add the finishing touches. She’ll either wear a good dress but neglect hair/makeup or wear great shoes with a bad dress or both. No such complains about Ms. Rao, who at the launch party of Maxim’s latest issue (featuring her) looked fab in a black Swapnil Shinde Rajat Tangri dress. Any other day, messy hair would have finished the look but not today.

P.S. She looks so good (in comparison to her many appearances before) that I am willing to ignore those slight creases on the dress.

P.P.S: A ‘Yay’ for Swapnil Shinde who has styled Amrita for the event.
