In Malini Ramani
Koel Purie continues to stay loyal to perhaps her favorite designer by once again sporting a gown from her (Malini Ramani’s) more recent collection.

Seems like the one-hit per day is really happening (the hit belonging to Ash).
I love Mallika in this nude bustier frock dress. It is such a stand out color on the red carpet and she looks so good and I love the detailing. But, how awful are those tie-up sandals. Am guessing she wanted to go for romantic/edgy look but those sandals are just an eye sore and complete deal breakers.
P.S. Why does this dress look so familiar. Am having another deja vu moment. Update: That’s because it is a Dolce & Gabbana and we’ve seen it on Carla Gugino and Eva Herzigova. Thanks Protyasha!

It felt like deja vu seeing Aishwarya Rai walk down the red carpet on day three of Cannes. She wore a pink gown that reminded me so much of her appearance at Cannes 2008 in a Roberto Cavalli gown. (That appearance also had her carry a silver clutch). It would be funny if this gown is also a Cavalli. 😛
Color and similarity aside, I wish the hair was different but then we might have had an ‘Almost’ Ditto of Ash vs Ash on our hands. Oddly enough, in 2008 the pink was my favorite look and now also this new appearance is my favorite.
Update: Aishwarya is in Gucci one of a kind.

My-oh-my. This is just what we needed after yesterday. Ash was a stunner in her black glittery Armani Privé gown (via RCFA). Love the hair, the minimal jewellery and the red lips.
My only gripe are those gunmetal satin shoes and I would have prefered something black to continue the look but considering it’s mostly hidden, am gonna ignore them and just look at everything above it. 😛

In my opinion, a long pallu on a sari is equivalent to a dramatic train on a gown on the red carpet.
Now, you can understand why I am a tad bit disappointed on seeing Deepika on the red carpet in this white Rohit Bal sari. I am not saying that she doesn’t look good, which she does… And, if this was a dinner event minus the hoopla it would be fine but it is such a huge red carpet event…
