Belting It Out

Oh Anjalee, have you been hanging out with Queenie? Did you really think this Léger needed a belt? On the flip side, it did distract us from the tacky bag and shoes for (a tiny, brief) a moment.

Sho(w)(p)lay

Designer Nida Mahmood Autumn/Winter 2009 collection was an ode to Bollywood featuring prints on bags, jackets, blazers. She herself was spotted with the Basanti bag at Olive Delhi coupled with a scarf from the same collection and in Mumbai, restauranteur AD Singh was spotted at LFW wearing the Gabbar blazer.

How do you like your kitsch? In small doses like the bag or bigger a la the blazer?

In Alexander McQueen And Dior

After giving us an Almost earlier in the day, Freida knocked it of the ballpark in a Resort 2011 Alexander McQueen at the Miral premiere at the 54th London Film Festival tonight.

She started the day in a floral shirt with a tan skirt (both Dior) but killed (read:badly) the look with her extreme black sandals. (Why would anyone pair that outfit with those shoes!?!)

No complains for the night look though. Perfection, head to toe. Loved it!

Thanks ‘Rhea/dark and lovely’ for the Dior spotting.

In Label By Ritu Kumar

After her performance at Zee TV’s Action Replay Diwali Show, Neha switched into a Label By Ritu Kumar top paired with purple knee-length leggings and olive boots. Another look that didn’t quite work because of the boots. We’d have loved some easy gladiator flats with this one. You like?

In Pankaj & Nidhi

For the first screening of Dhobi Ghat at the 54th BFI London Film Festival, it was Pankaj & Nidhi again for director Kiran Rao. Love the comfy-casual dress but oh-no at the boots. Would’ve rather seen her wear stockings and ankle booties to beat the cold.
