It’s rare that at the same film festival, two personalities wear the same dress. Rarer when the personalities are associated to the same film. We don’t know who (stylist/loaner) screwed up but Freida who stars in Miral and Rula (the writer of Miral) were spotted wearing the same Dolce & Gabbana lace dress just one day apart!

Major screw up aside, who do you like more?

The Festival Circuit

The cast of Gangor, a movie based on the work of Maheswata Devi, attended the red carpet and photocall today at the 5th International Rome Film Festival. Unfortunately, we cannot say they did so in style.

For the premiere, Seema wore a French Connection black dress that she paired with (we-have-no-clue-why!) tights. Priyanka Bose wore a bustier gown but the constant pulling back of the skirt to show the legs was a major turnoff. We’ll give a few points to Tillotama for wearing a sari on the red carpet but take a lot more away for the way she wore it. It was awful and those jootis were such an eyesore.

Except for Seema (who again wore tights), the other two fared better at the photocall with Priyanka wearing an LBD with a rosette detail at the waist and Tillotama wearing the same Hervé Léger dress that we’ve seen on Rhea Kapoor and Lisa Haydon.

Vivek Oberoi tied the knot with Priyanka Alva on Friday night and made an appearance for the press right after their wedding nuptials. Congratulations to the couple!

P.S. Both wore Tarun Tahiliani according to reports and the sarpech on Vivek’s turban was a gift from mother-in-law Nandini.

Last night in New York, actress Melissa George was spotted wearing a Fall 2010 Bibhu Mohapatra. The gold strapless dress features a dramatic black ruffle detail running from the shoulder to the hem. The actress kept it simple by not wearing any jewellery and wearing her hair up to show off the dress as much as possible and we loved it.
