Wearing a Falguni and Shane Peacock feather dress, Katy Perry picked up the Best Video Award for ‘California Gurls’ at the MTV Europe Music Awards held today.

From afar, I didn’t mind the dress since it fits Katy’s quirky taste in fashion. But, seeing it up close, I’ve got to admit am not a fan of the bust. Blue and green platform heels completed her look.

‘Priyanka’ lets us know that Ms. Fernandez was wearing Georges Hobeika at the Sahara Star Awards. The Lebanese designer’s yellow creation was also worn by Julianne Hough back in June to the CMT Music Awards. Both wore the yellow dress with silver sandals. You know what we are going to ask next, don’t you? 😉

Shilpa Shetty and husband Raj Kundra hosted their first Diwali bash post marriage that was attended by the who’s who of tinsel town.

These ladies went the six-yard round and of the four here, loved Nandita’s pink sari the most. It was festive enough without being too gaudy. For the worst of the lot, you’ll have to take a peek inside!

While Jacqueline’s dress (a Georges Hobeika) reminds me of something that could’ve been part of a Top Chef Just Desserts challenge, Sonakshi’s hair and make up veers dangerously close to “costume”. And so, as great as the color itself was on these lovely ladies, their overall look was anything but.
