In Roberto Cavalli

Some may feel the gold RC hardware is just the right amount of bling on this Roberto Cavalli dress, but we don’t. Which side are you on?

In Falguni and Shane Peacock

It’s almost like we have a Peacock spotting every week. Oh wait, we do! I don’t watch X-Factor but if you do, you probably spotted Cheryl wear this Fall 2010 Falguni and Shane Peacock dress on her this weekend.

Cheryl wore the outfit without the exaggerated shoulder which takes some of the edge off but I think works for Cheryl because she has that feminine look.

In Masaba

With established designers hogging attention, it is really nice to see the youn’uns supporting upcoming ones. Case in point, Sonam Kapoor inaugurating Masaba Gupta’s flagship store wearing one of Masaba’s saris. We love the sari and the jewellery.

P.S. Sonam isn’t the first. Let’s not forget Deepika in Nimirta Lalwani and Bipasha/Deepika/Kareena in Armaan by Sunaina Puri.

In Manish Malhotra

Let’s clear one thing first. Teacher’s Achievement Awards 2010 has nothing to do with being a teacher. It (Teacher’s) is actually a liquor brand that alongwith People felicitated different people in various fields one of them being Aishwarya who won the Teacher’s People Magazine Achiever Award.

She accepted her awards wearing a cream Manish Malhotra anarkali with a maroon dupatta. Most of the time, her hair always stands out and is quite a distraction, but on this occasion it (the hair) wasn’t. As for look as whole, we weren’t really excited. You’ve seen one MM anarkali, you’ve seen em all.

In Sabyasachi

It was a Sabyasachi sari for Rani Mukherjee who presented the Dalai Lama the Mother Teresa Memorial International Award in New Delhi.

We don’t have rights to the full-lengths picture but you can catch two here and here. The stacked bangles were a nice addition. Can’t say the same about the necklace though.
