The look needed some color to liven things up. Rubies instead of diamonds and a brighter lip color would’ve helped elevate the look.

For her red carpet appearance, Deepika picked a Gaurav Gupta gown. Wearing her hair back, she rounded out the look with a striking red lip. It was a safe choice but that’s not to say she didn’t wear the gown well, she did. Perhaps it didn’t make as much of an impact because the color pretty much blended in with the red carpet.

Wearing an embellished Iman Saab gown, Pooja attended the Zee Cine Awards in Mumbai. The hair do and diamond necklace made the look seem a touch too pageant-y. Wish she had worn her up in a soft wispy knot or in sharp vintage-inspired waves and had skipped the necklace for earrings or at the very least, diamonds for emeralds. The gown itself did work well on her.
