Helping launch an education-technology company that offers “online and offline counseling for overseas education”, all per the press-release, was Rakul… wearing this Anamika Khanna outfit.

Look, she makes the fussy separates work; she looked nice. But, we don’t quite understand the choice of outfit for the occasion. Stars are brought in both to lend exposure and add that all important celebrity-endorsement quotient, that part we get. But is there no way one can balance the glamour with some gravitas?

As she jetted off to promote her latest movie, Parineeti was photographed in a graphic tee from Kara by KK, one that she paired with a skirt from Only. Matching Charles and Keith sandals and a denim jacket rounded out the look.

More recently, as she made her way to London, Parineeti was photographed in a cropped-tee, skinny jeans, boots and a camel-colored cape.

While promoting her movie recently, we had two sightings of Sonakshi in matching separates, though each look was quite different from the other.

We weren’t the biggest fans of the floral-print separates that we spotted her in first. Paired with those sandals, the look especially fell flat. The silhouette, the print, the styling, it all looked somewhat dowdy on her. Comparatively, she fared a whole lot better in the all-white Aya Muse look. She looked at ease in the separates and made the look work for her!
