Of Promotions

Bhumi had a very busy Friday with promotions of her movie. The day saw her start with a Saiko Studio blue corset paired with white distressed denims, then in an embroidered sari by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla and finally at night in another blue top, this time one by Aniket Satam paired with another pair of distressed denims.

I am not sure what the significance of the blue tops is, someone hopefully can tell me, but of the three outfits, it was easy to pick the sari as the best appearance of all. As for the corset tops, not that they were a favorite, it’s just that the denim pairings here weren’t working.

What say you of the looks?

  1. This sarre. Zero imagination. Basic basic design. Everyone is currently riding the South wave after the 2020 debacle with so many south movie promos and crossovers and whatnot. I don’t even know what those Tamil words mean or the significance but sure looks like a gimmick.

  2. Yikes man is all I can say. The blouses are hideous fabrics. the saree I thought was Masaba because she usually does text on sarees but the cut is very ASK I suppose especially the fringe detail and upon zooming it looks like there are sequins scattered which solidify the ASKness lol

    • The word across her blouse is ‘Kaadal’ meaning love in Tamil. Why though? It’s so gimmicky. But, even after all that, her sari look is better than the other two, and that’s really saying something! The blue tops are so bad.

    • She wore that saree for Kapil Sharma Show for the Valentine special episode. The words on the saree are “Love” in different languages

  3. Feels like AJSK took inspiration from PICCHIKA’s organza sarees that is customizable (Bebo, Sam’s pupper…). The former ought to get a thumbs down.

  4. I think the saree says love in multiple languages. Not sure why some are in bold and some are not, but I think it’s a little over the top to say she’s trying to jump on the south train

  5. Truly atrocious in all three of them. We know that celebrities are styled by professionals but man there is such a disconnect with the styling with these outfits. She’s not carrying any of them organically. It’s not Bhumi in the outfit. There’s Bhumi. Then there’s the outfit. Jarring.
