In Kshitij Jalori

Comment image 19

Wearing a gold Benarasi brocade suit and contrasting emerald green dupatta, all from Kshitij Jalori, Bhumi attended the Lokmat Most Stylish Awards on Wednesday evening.

Jewellery from Roopa Vohra Fine Jewellery and Intoto sandals finished out her look.

At first glance, I found the dupatta draped around her a bit stiff (read not quite effortless), but the more I look the less I mind it. She looked lovely.

    • Agree, it’s gorgeous. Though I’m biased as my mother wore a Benarasi saree very similar to the dupatta ( both in terms of colour and the pattern) on my wedding day! 🙂

  1. I think for the first time I am seeing bhoomi In Indian wear!! And how gorgeous she looks, Man!!
Love the ensemble!! The color the material et al.
If I have to nitpick I will replace that necklace with a delicate gold chain.

  2. While we keep wishing for her to relax her face more, there is no denying her style is rich and elegant here. Indian traditional weaves and jewelry at their finest!

  3. The fabric is gorgeous n this is the best outfit choice Bhumi has made in recent memory. But The expression, the pose and the hands – this pic might has well have been taken in Madame Tussaud s.

  4. The fabric is so decadent, rich and beautifully patterned for both the kurta set and the odhni. Its so contemporary yet regal and its a perfect inspiration for everyday women such as myself. Very very minor – I would have loved either a different necklace shape or a different neckline of the kurta – I think the v neck and the round necklace are clashing together, but I don’t think it is taking away from her look. Such a beautiful turn out

  5. Do not like this on Bhumi. Dupatta is absolutely lovely but don’t like how it is worn and don’t like it with the suit. Nothing new about the suit, as someone said very raw mangoish. The necklace and makeup and hair nothing works for me.
If we are only talking about the Dupatta it’s gorgeous!

  6. She looks lovely.. The only changes I would make is drape the dupatta over one shoulder to see more of that lovely kurta and replace the necklace with a delicate gold chain.
    Other than that – Aces!
