Giving shimmer bit of a rest, Bhumi picked two non-embellished dresses for a recent round of movie promotions. For one appearance, she picked a ruched mini by Nisse, one that she teamed with Public Desire sandals. While at another event, she was photographed wearing Wesley Harriott. With her hair pulled back in to a ponytail, she rounded out that look with Jeffrey Campbell sandals.
As much as we appreciate the change of pace, can’t say we were big fans of either outfit.

Both the outfits give a very amateur vibe. Looks like
the designer badly wanted to be creative and tried to fit in ruches, cut-out, dramatic sleeves, deconstructed shirt etc all in a single garment! Funny stuff!
She looks good despite the addition of comical
She is one big wannabe and tryhard.
She’s trying too hard and it shows in her every appearance
again … trying too hard!

At least she is smiling in the 1st outfit. That’s also a good change.
I’m officially tired of her. Those poses and pout are a deal breaker no matter how good she turns up. Waiting for the promos and success bash to be over
Question: does Bhumi look at her own pictures later? Does she not realise that the awful pout looks so fake forced? Does she not realise the hands on waist pose is just plain silly.
Both of those are extremely annoying to me and I just get bugged looking at her posts. As for the choice of her clothes here and in other posts uniformly bad and not to my taste. Not one of them so far has matched my sense of aesthetics so I don’t usually comment on her posts but now I am really tired of seeing her, so just had to vent!

The last pic is the saving grace. Why? No pouting, no posing, no fierce looks and whatever…. Just goes to show a natural smile, wind blown wispy hair and comfortable posture can actually save a disaster of a dress.
What in the name of God are these dresses? She really has the knack to pick the most outrageous outfits that does nothing for her…add to that the ridiculous poses. Why would anyone sane turn up in that black outfit?
The cream dress is not bad infact she’s looking pretty in it…. The black one, guess that needed an instruction manual to get into!
Why o why Bhumi?? The off white dress looks dated and the black is wtf!! Add the sunglasses and the weird pout and it jumps to the category of “weird”.
Cream one is actually looking good. That black one, least said is better.

She has been doing back to back promotions this year, sadly no look was impactful. Just another Bhumi sighting in meh clothes. I wish Kangu was doing so much promotions and outings instead of airport runway fashion all the time
I hate being the fashion-purist or the fashion-luddite here, but god designed nude peeptoes to help women who didnt have legs of elle macpherson….
Plain, matte leather finish, 6 inch stilettos with a peep-toe were made for dresses of this length. No need to get creative here.
In Look #1, she should have used a cocktail ring to create visual interest….or delicate layered pendants/chains to balance the heavy ruching … or tried longer sleeves…. but should have stuck to nude peeptoes and not use those weird metal-finish ones
