Sari Style

At Monday promotions of her movie in Mumbai, Bhumi was seen in a checked sari from Raw Mango known these days mostly as Paalum Pazhamums. The name comes from the 1960s movie named the same and in which B. Saroji Devi wore such saris leading to the pattern of this weave to be called such.

Coming back to Ms. Pednekar, it is amusing to me that even here, she couldn’t resist wearing the sari seedha palla way to show off the midriff yet again. Her Lucknow appearance on Sunday had me believe perhaps she was ready to go a different route with styling. Doesn’t seem like it.

  1. Regarding the first outfit, she should have just worn a lehenga if she wanted her top to be the centre of attention. Why wear a sari and end up looking silly.

  3. The first outfit doesn’t even look like a saree. She would have just worn a skirt from Pazhum Pazhamum type fabric and the bikini blouse for the effect that she was going for

  4. Bhumi is all about hammering our head with “ “have a chest and abs”

  5. She has destroyed a beautiful sarees look by wearing it in such a tacky way. These timeless sarees need to be properly to showcase their beauty
