Belting It Out

Even though the belt added a great point of interest to Neeta Lulla’s outfit at the launch, it didn’t really work because of her dress’ weird/awkward/nor here-nor there length. The second time around (at the brunch), the belt complimented the outfit really well. Her outfit totally works minus the shoes and bag.

  1. I’d have ditched the shoes. Man those look hideous with this. Reminds me of the 70’s vintage fashion pics I was looking at the other day. Everything from lips to earrings to shoes to dress to eye make up co-ordinated. Maybe maybe it would have worked with the bag. The shoes just exaggerate it, no??

  3. She’s such a hit and miss designer, no wonder Ms. Rai’s her best client. The black and white ensemble works (minus the shoes and bag), but isn’t it sort of time tested? I’d expect a bit more experimentation with someone who makes that kinda money doing this day in and day out. This woman’s talent is totally overrated. Next.

  4. Terrible, terrible outfits. That blue dress hits her silhouette at the worst point and makes her look very dowdy.

That white tuxedo shirt is hideous with its balloon sleeves. I don’t even know what to say about the shoes with that particular outfit.

Yeah, I can totally see why Aishwarya gets such bad press for her dresses.
