Doing Desi

Both Sara and Katrina picked white outfits that featured intricate work for their recent outing, with the former in Manish Malhotra and the latter, in a Ritika Mirchandani. Wearing their hair down, both ladies rounded out their look with taditional earrings. Sara also added a matching fringe bag to the look, also by Manish Malhotra.

Sara looked lovely (we’ll just have to pretend we don’t see the bag)! But if I had to pick a favorite, my vote would go to Katrina. The look is in her wheelhouse and she wears the outfit with enviable effortlessness.

Picking festive outfits in classic color pairings, these lovely ladies cut an elegant picture while at a soiree last evening. I am especially partial to Anupama’s look; loved both the outfit and her in it.

In Manish Malhotra

Wearing an ornate Manish Malhotra suit, Aishwarya attended the Ambani-Merchant engagement party in Mumbai last evening. Aside from the gold-toned accessories, signature hair and make-up rounded out her look.

The green and gold tones work well on her; she looked radiant. But everything else- from the kind of Indianwear she favors to her hair and make-up, it’s just same ol’ same ol’.

Of Promotions

Teaming her trousers with a denim cropped jacket and matching crop-top, Rashmika attended the screening of her latest movie. With her hair pulled back in to a ponytail, she rounded out the look with a pair of black sandals.

It’s a minor gripe, but I am not a fan of that exposed zipper on the pants. It doesn’t take away from how well Rashmika wears the look so it was an easy detail to overlook. She looked good!

Doing Denim

Teaming their denims with buttondowns, both Mrunal and Mouni stepped out in Mumbai recently. While the former teamed her black denims with a grey shirt and white sneakers, the latter teamed her grey denims with a black vest (over a shirt) and black sneakers.
