The Met Gala showcasing the Rei Kawakubo/Comme des Garçons years is underway as we write and in attendance are plenty of celebrities. We of course fell off our chairs seeing Ms. Chopra in her Ralph Lauren trench coat gown featuring the large train. We were fortunate enough to catch the exhibit earlier today and if you happen to be in the area, you must make the time to see it. But back to the trench-dress, given the re-imagined, playful takes on coats and jackets that we saw at the exhibit, this trench falls right in line with the theme. It also helps that Ms. Chopra worked every bit of that look! We love.

Wearing Erol Albayrak, Malaika cut a very striking picture on a recent red carpet. Hair and make-up was on point and that molten-metallaic color looked great on Malaika. Sure the dress was just a tad reminiscent of Armani Privé, but that hardly put a dampener on things. She did good!

We had our eyes peeled for Ms. Chopra, and she didn’t disappoint on the Oscars red carpet. The Ralph & Russo gown was a great fit for her; she looked striking. Aside from the straightened hair, diamond jewelry and matching silver sandals rounded out the look. Wish the actor had skipped wearing cuffs on each wrist, it took away from the drama of her gown. But that was a minor gripe; Priyanka looked good!

For many reasons, and boy were there some solid reasons, 2016 was quite the year. And so after a well-earned patch of downtime, here we are with a bit of fluff to start off 2017 on a fun note. One day in a preppy ponytail, another in good ol’ Hollywood waves and somewhere in the middle a slew of trendy braids, Alia Bhatt ditched the safe Bollywood blowout for some serious fun with hair, making us think twice before heating that flat iron!

Most Fun With Lip Color: Priyanka Chopra
It’s safe to say that the two words that would pop up in Priyanka Chopra’s lipstick word cloud would be dramatic & dark. Berry, burgundy, red… She even nailed the brown lip without evoking any of that Nineties feeling. And that’s no easy feat.
