Falling back on a designer she seems to favor most, Kiran picked a Sanjay Garg dress for a recent outing. Skipping the shirt (as presented on the runway), the filmmaker teamed the maxi with a glossy lip, diamond earrings and a box clutch.

She presumably skipped styling the dress the way it was presented to keep it more formal, a move we understand. But by doing so, the look also lost a bit of its spunk! Ms. Rao looked nice but did she blow us away, not quite.

At the Vogue Awards held last evening in Mumbai, Kriti was photographed in a Shivan and Narresh dress. Wavy hair, heavy smokey eyes, Misho jewelry and black sandals, all complemented the cut-out gown well. Kriti looked good. But that gown itself wasn’t a ten in our books; lycra just doesn’t photograph luxe.

Wearing a frothy Sachin & Babi gown, Athiya attended the Vogue event last night. Side-swept hair, discreet hair and understated make-up rounded out the look well. A look that Athiya has mastered by now; she looked nice.

Doing Denim

We love ourselves some denim-on-denim action. Preferably denim of two different washes/color tones but trust Sophie and Esha to make even monotone work.

For travel Sophie took a decidedly more casual approach. Her Goyard tote and loafers rounded out the look perfectly. Esha for her part, decided to dress up her separates. An oxblood bag and metallic pumps were just the accessories to do the job.

Both ladies wore their respective looks well.

At Arbaaz’s birthday soirée held last evening, Sonakshi was photographed in a burnt-orange sheath dress. Pairing the corseted dress with an off-white trench, the actor rounded out her look with a pair of classic nude pumps.

Love the dress on her, the trench, not so much.

P.S: The distinct tan like line on the forehead sure made for some make-up issues we wish had been avoided. Bit of a bummer that.
