In a Roberto Cavalli drop-waist embellished gown, Ileana attended the recently held Awards night. The nod to flapper-girl aesthetic was hard to miss but we do wish she had gone the whole hog. Berry lips and The Great Gatsby‘esque hair (bobs/shingles/marcel waves) would’ve scored this look a perfect ten.

With this latest sighting of hers, Amrita debuted a new (to this blog) designer, Alkesh Ramwani. In a rosette accented tule dress paired with a purple embellished velvet jacket, Amrita started off 2013 on a rather dated and tacktastic note. But it’s only January, we are still holding on to hope.

Jewelry from Curio Cottage completed her look.

P.S: When done right, the whole jacket + dress combination (dressed up or down) is a great idea to give a look bit of a contemporary twist. Right however being the operative word.
