She is actually quite a class apart from Sonam. Athiya’s style is effortless and chic while Sonam’s is errr… the exact opposite. If she was a Sonam ‘wannabe’, she would be showing up at promotions in clown like outfits and garish hair/makeup which she is CLEARLY not doing. So please let’s not even compare the classy looks of this girl to Sonam’s over thought, over processed appearances.
Well said Anya!!! That’s what I was thinking. She doesn’t at all look like Sonam and doesn’t dress like Sonam, she looks like Sunil Shetty. She is class apart.
I do wish she allowed an expression to escape once a while though!
She pulled off three looks. But I like her in the pastel green anarkali.
Green anarkali would have been looked much better if it was pressed.
The green suit looks gorgeous on her.
Must we see each and every look of hers? The cut apple print looks supremely weird.

She’s probably overwhelmed and tired, it’s the first movie, first time getting so much ‘in your face ‘ camera attention, I am sure it must be daunting..looks great in the green outfit, salwar/anarkali/dress whatever it is.
Actually the third look has a diff hair style. :))

I think it’s her same old hair and same old poses that have hastened the getting -over process.

It’s one thing to carry clothes beautifully and have great posture.
But she’s an actor. A smile or even a change of expression would convince me that she’s not in fact a Madame Tussaud’s statue being dragged event to event

+2. Well said. Im still willing to cut her some slack, its her first movie and as someone above said – its the first time she is getting so much camera attention. Im hoping that she will ease up soon and we get to see her personality a bit. At least a smile.
She has great features and dressing sense and all, but she consistently has this “I’m so bored get me out of here” look on her face. Loving that she’s embracing her natural skin color, though.
Though I love the pastel anarkali, I think the Aarti Gupta apple print dress looks best on her.

Supposedly a fresh face, but with so many appearances all the mystery/anticipation is gone – I feel like I already know what to expect from her and am already bored! Honestly she looks more like a model fit for product endorsements and less of a movie star.
no complains on her style but yeah, her expressions are the same everywhere. I wonder why! Her Instagram pictures have more drama than her promotional appearance pictures. I wonder why, again!
