I wish we we had a full-length pic to see whether Adhuna wore the dress with pants, like on the runway, or did without. Am surprised she didn’t wear the long sleeves, considering we have seen her wear quirky stuff before! (Remember the applique dress at Farah’s bash?)
But, coming back to the dress. I so want! Badly!
Update: Turns out that she did wear them with pants and also is wearing a variation.

This is kalamkari print , Asmita has done some lovely dresses/kurtas by updating this ancient art, I spotted a couple of them on some actresses too.

The dress is very quirky and interesting. Not many people can carry it off. Adhuna looks good because she ha such a bohemian style.

Yes, Asmita is from Hyderabad and the brunch was to celebrate ‘Rock On’s success. I forgot to add that! My bad!
Adhuna looks good. Olive seems like The Ivy.
Adhuna’s personality really stands out. She’s not much of a looker, though. I like her! That’s a cute top, kurta cut.
I actually love that the model’s wearing sneakers with that dress! It breaks up the flowy femininity in a cool way..reminds me of all the NYC women who are dressed in their expensive business suits, only to be wearing sneakers for the long ride home standing up. It’s like, fantasy with a touch of reality, perhaps?

When you compare past pics of Adhuna on this website, you can see how much more stylish she has become. This ethnic/bohemion look really suits her, and I think its the style indian designers do best when trying to do western wear.
