In Tadashi Shoji

First Padma’s show Top Chef finally won an Emmy and much to her surprise (but completely deserved), Archie Panjabi won the best supporting actress in drama for her role as Kalinda Sharma in The Good Wife.

In a complete departure from her character’s I-mean-business look which mostly consists of a leather jacket paired with skirts and boots, Archie wore a feminine Tadashi Shoji chiffon gown with a beaded bodice. She paired her gown with a brown glittery clutch, python grey pumps and some gold jewelry (earrings and a gold bracelet).

  1. She looks really nice and has such a great body! She is great on the show but in those boxy jackets, I never noticed how pretty she could be.

  2. Oh man I jumped up with joy when they announced her name. So well deserved. She is brilliant in the show.

She looks nice. Brown is not the colour I would choose for the red carpet, but on TV (when she went on stage) it looked more like black, and nicer. I do like the fit of the gown.

  3. aww..she looks soooo lovely…love her in the show..Congrats to her on the win..!!
comparing with the other Emmy gowns, this one is not that great…she wud have looked so much better in something more elaborate..and somehow..this pic reminds me of why Indian girls are mistaken for Latinas all the time.. :))

  4. Isn’t she the girl from Bend it Like Beckham? Thinks she looks lovely! And must commend her for picking a ‘different’ colour! You go girl!

  5. loved her from her early days in ‘East is East’. She looks great and the win is well deserved. You’ve come a long way! congrats!
