Anushka celebrated Karva Chauth with Virat and shared pics of the two on social media that showed her wearing a Sabyasachi floral print sari. No surprise there.

    • @. I The captions accompanying his Insta posts are just so pretentious and annoying..’I remember my childhood..my mother played the Harmonium is her simple dhakai saree with flowers in her hair, we went to the local fair and ate turmeric popcorn, the smell of incense wafting through the air…’ I can hear ragas. Please shut up already.

      • Hahaha.. spot on.. but this is in general a Facebook and Insta disease…the need to write pretentious, ‘meaningful’ captions that tell us how ‘deep’ the poster is

        • Had P&P not mentioned it’s a Sabya, we readers would have thought, surely Anushka has better style than this pedestrian looking saree with the chamki border!

      • I called out Sabya for his pretentious postings and then making models pose in front of picture of dead/ hunted tiger and hunter. He dares to use the tiger as his motifs when obviously he has so little respect for the actual specials. It truly broke my heart.

        • The only things that I like from all his creations are the tiger emblem clutches. Those are really well made and royal looking. But this detail is making me uncomfortable.

    middle part sleek hair- check
    sindoor/bindi- check
    unnecessarily huge earrings- check

  2. I have a genuine question if someone could answer- how do these celebs get these sarees? Do they buy it? or does the designer give them new sarees to wear?

  3. Is it necessary to drape this hideous saree just because you are getting it for free and its Sabya, when you know that a simple non designer and beautiful sarees are available at affordable prices even for non celebrity people like us?

  4. So anyone who gets a Sabya saree has to sign a contract that they will wear it with a middle parting, big earrings and small bindi look? It has to be because no one tries anything new.

  5. although this look is very repetitive and the saree itself is so outdated but the styling always work for her because she has a big face to carry that chipku hair bun
