Anushka picked a lilac Falguni and Shane Peacock gown to wear to Deepika and Ranveer’s reception. I didn’t care for the earrings, would’ve preferred smaller studs, but she looked good.

Pretty color n nice gown but I so wish she had left her hair in nice loose waves ( like Kareena’s ) would’ve looked for breezy n more fun n not so severe…..nevertheless she looks classy !

Objectively this is an overwrought dress — feathered/fringed hem *and* cuffs, sheer shoulders/yoke, yoke darts that extend into sleeves (!!), high neck, plus all in a tricky color! But as we’ve seen time and time again, Anushka is really good at wearing the shit out of weird and complicated outfits and making them look coherent and graceful. She manages to elevate everything she wears.
