We’ve never seen her impress when wearing western but didn’t think she can go very wrong when going traditional. How wrong we were!
Is it too much to expect a better blouse when someone decides to wear a sheer sari???

what was she thinking? and the worst thing is that the hook details are the front (i.e the part the blouse is opened from…) thats soooo wierd…

I think she would have looked nice if only she had worn a better blouse. even though the saree is a bit tacky, she kind of looks pretty in that color!
Additionally, I don’t like that the ‘fall’ (the peice of fabric attached at the bottom hem to weight the sari down a bit) of the sari is not of a lighter-weight/sheer fabric such as a cotton voile etc, so that it was not so obvious.
Not to mention that the sari looks from a decade ago.

I think the sari is old, probably her mom’s because that kind of blouses were the norm in the 70s and 80s.
It seems she tried very hard to get it all right, but that netted (or whatever,transparent) sari just doesnt work..transparent to an extent is fine, but this tissue paper isnt getting her anywhere
The blouse is making the whole look so tacky.
I have a sheer saree too & I have never worn it coz I am not sure what kind of blouse will go with it. Can anyone suggest something?
