Ananya attended the Chanel presentation and then the opening night of the Ballet Gala as a guest of the brand, wearing Chanel to both outings but of course. Guess Chanel is trying to woo the younger demographic but can’t say either outfit was memorable. But, between the two, the shorts was far better than the dress.

Ha ha ha..first Alia for Gucci and now Ananya for Chanel. Brands giving a tough competition to eachother on who dilutes their brand image more. The black outing is slightly cleaner, I like it but it doesn’t exude luxe. But these two appearances are still less off an eyesore than Alia’s first Gucci outing.
Alia is a brand ambassador for Gucci where as Ananya was attending. I feel super proud that we Indian are now being recognised in the world fashion scenario and being made a part of it. Not diluting it at all
I think they are trying to tap India as a market. I think they think it has huge potential. Currently South Korea is the highest per capita spender on luxury brands, so a lot of their ambassadors are from Korea. I guess they want to make India the next big market and that is the reason they are wooing these young “starlets” not calling Alia a starlet but Ananya surely is
Yawn. They are not being “recognised” in the world fashion scenario. These brands are after the $$$ huge markets like India bring and PR agents/managers of these privileged actresses are making hay while the sun shines without adding any pizzaz, style or personality to the brand.
Agree. Except Aishwarya, which has been for ages there is no recognition. It’s finding a cute latest face to run the campaign. Indian luxury market is not the most refined, not sure our actors get paid at par or close to others on globe.

First look is nice but the shorts seem detached from the suit, wish it were pants or a dress.
The black dress is awesome, hate the awkwardly hanging bag and the torn design left knee down..
Indian actors can do as many brands but somehow don’t seem to have the finesse that most other international celebrities bring.
