While promoting her upcoming movie recently, Ananya was photographed in checkered separates by Valenti. With her hair in a ponytail, she rounded out the look with a pair of chunky sandals. For her appearance on the sets of a television show, she picked an embellished suit by Judy Zhang to wear. Wavy hair and classic ankle-strap sandals rounded out the actor’s look this time around.
Of the two looks, it was easy to pick her appearance in the suit as the favorite. The plaid separates while fun did absolutely nothing for Ananya. Between the pattern, the boxy silhouette and the asymmetrical lines, the actor looked way too overwhelmed by it all; wasn’t a fan.

Yes, and in spirit of equality let’s have men ditch their shirts under the suit. Why should women be so liberal in fashion and men so conservative.

I really like the embellished suit paired with that bralet…just the right amount of skin show making the look sexy and not veering into vulgar zone ( Bhumi’s bralet outing). Ananya looks rather charming.

I actually liked the mini more. The boxy top is complimented well by the fitted mini skirt. I finally see some attitude here and her looks are so much better already.
I don’t like the bra pairing with the pant suit. Either have the courage to skip wearing anything under the jacket, or wear a normal top. This is an attempt at dressing sexy without much success.
Ananaya Pandey might be dotting all the I’s and crossing the T’s in terms of fashion, but somehow she still comes “Not Quite” to me!!
I feel very, very uncomfortable about over sexualizing a young girl like Ananya. The clothes, the postures is all.about feeding this disgusting hunger to show girls / women in a particular light only. I wish Ananya was more about the art with a fresh, subtle style to go with her sweet demeanor.
Agree! In Bollywood being equal to men means, shedding clothes and then claiming they did because they are “empowered women”… real classy and educated!
