In Kotwara

Amy tried to go give us a regal look at SIIMA in a Kotwara sharara and I say tried because while I appreciate the effort, it didn’t quite translate well on the red carpet.

The color combo as well as the pattern felt rather incohesive and now that I’ve spotted the drawstring (or naada as you might call it), I can’t believe she wore it that long.

  1. If this is Muzzafar Ali’s design, he’s lost it. Can’t believe he’s the same guy who made Umaro Jaan and what a movie it was, my all time fav. The clothes (supposedly designed by him and then wife Subhashini Ali) were near perfect, this outfit not so much..

  2. What happened there??? The outfits totally taking away from Amy Jacksons persona. It looks really really old like a decade of seasons old.
She obviously doesn’t know how much of the nada needs to be shown for the latkan to show. Bad styling too.
Managed to make ‘Amy Jackson’ look sloppy…

  3. OMG! Are you kidding me? This pic of the particular attire should not be allowed to be published anywhere. Ughhh..soooo bad tailoring, fabric, naadaa.. Where does one start? Uff my eyes..my eyes!

  4. This is real bad. How can they put such a gorgeous lady in this mess of an outfit. She still looks good neck up. Talking about the nada, I think it got loosened up.

  5. This is a gharara distinct from a sharara due to the ‘goth’ or the cinched part near the knees. Sharara is like a very flared culotte with no goth.

  6. How can someone even pair such garish bright colors with pastels and white? You shouldn’t need a stylist to tell you the ensemble is ridiculous 🙂
