After wearing a ‘churidaar‘ and a ‘lehenga‘, it was time for a sari… For the wedding reception of her little sister, Malaika donned a pale hued net sari… you like?

  3. i dont like the saree!! ive stared at her pictures for a long time to figure out why i dont like it, but i still dont knw why! i think its the way she wore it, her posture and her ugly earrings and bag!! and that belt is an unnecessary addition of more bling! calm down with the ott lady!!!

  4. I don’t like the color, drape or the accessories. Her pose in the bottom 3 pics is weird, its like she’s posing for a swimsuit calendar.

  5. She is looking so horrible in the wedding….. the saree is sooo cheap looking and there is nothing good about the accessories either…….She looks good in the other 2 though…..

  6. She is a beautiful woman with great taste but her posture is beyond awful. The jutting-chest, arched-spine thing makes her look like a Playmate :p

  7. I love doing that for weddings..lol

she also had a dress on for the wedding, I know thats not traditional Indian, but still is variety..she was well dressed for everything!

  8. Hi,
OMG in the saree she looks like those who come on festive occasions or when kids are born or during weddings…and have a special clap….

  9. and why point out her stretch marks
i mean she’s human after all
she has had a baby and its incredible that she still looks this hot

  10. I actually loved all of her outfits throughout the wedding (not so sure about the red lengha though)…and I normally hate her wardrobe choices!!!

  11. I think she wore all three outfits very well, although the churidaar and the lehenga are my favorites. And personally, I don’t mind that you can see she has stretchmarks….very few women don’t. Love her henna as well.

  12. I love the fact that she doesn’t try and hide her stretch marks,I have some myself and I know how I used to agonize about them.Well, you know what people really don’t care if you don’t and are confident.I think she looks amazing, especially after a baby. She is about Ash’s age folks, look at the way she has maintained herself.

  13. i like her in three of them ..bt yea dont like her poses in last pics ..i dont think its a big deal abt the stretch marks its natural and she loooks so hot even a childbirth..

  14. Mallaika looks gorgeous in all 3 outfits.. I do love the sari — wish it was a darker/different color. I’m done with beize/cream color – everyone and their mother has it in Bollywood.

  15. Yes trousers in place of petticoats are in. They’re like parallel type pants worn under saris. I’ve seen a few people do that now.

  16. i agree with quite a few comments here specially about de last pic … the posture, de accessories (why baby pink earrings and also de kamar bandh) and de draping. but otherwise i think de saree is gud on her n altho m hating alll de othr lace/net sarees i think shes carrying it well. Also she shud hav been careful abt coverin up her stretch marks.

  17. ya its not a big deal to have stretch marks, but she needs to cover them up and not flaunt ’em

btw those most be real opals in her earrings .. quite expensive

  18. okay firstly–nude is the color of the season or so says VOGUE and thus her sari color makes sense; but my fav is the lehenga
as for the ruuudeee comments on her stretch marks–she is 35 with a kid; seriously people..UGH!!!

  19. She looks beautiful. No need to dissect her look. Overall she looks well put together. The bride on the other hand looks the same in all the functions and the makeup was dull all throughout as well.

  20. I liked how she changed her silhouette for all the occasions!
    but the sari/the bling/the pose/the earrings/the waist-band thingi… not working for me

  21. I dont like her anyway- I think she is a BIG show-off kinda lady… but why is she standing like that? Sarees dont suit her – period.

  22. She looks great except for the bust-up pose. And for that one ‘anon’ commentor who spoke about the stretch marks..it was very rude. Stretch marks are medals of motherhood and there is nothing wrong in flaunting them. There is nothing shameful about it.

  23. Pink and Sweta, why would you point to her stretch marks as if countless women don’t suffer from a poor body image already? She’s 35 and a mother, and looks like a million dollars. Would ou rather she got work done? It’s ok to be judgmental, but this is just mean and shallow.

  24. Talk about cheap Cheap CHEAP. So damn tacky. Malaika really needs a makeover. Having truckfuls of money, so mmuch exposure and having access to the world’s best designer wear – and she wears this. Very disappointing. I wonder whether stars clown up just to loook different Lol!

  25. the churidar look is really nice and classy. i agree with most of the people here,,the saree look is quite trashy.
and the red lengha is little too much clevage showing.

  26. this lady is a BIG TIME POSER which may come across as being provocative lol

needless to say, she looks good in all three avatars but i like the churidaar the most because of its “non-cleavage” show!

  27. OMG!!! i didnt like any of the outfits..but i must say her face looks stunning.. she is pretty and thats about it..i dont even want to start wth the saree and the way she is posing…

  28. she’s got such a beautiful face and figure, why does she think she needs to expose her body? she looks far, far better when she doesn’t.

  29. I’m very curious about how trousers are worn under a sari. A petticoat has a drawstring (nada) that helps hold up the sari. So do these trousers have drawstrings at the waist?

  30. i like the way she looks … i saw a pic of her in this mornings paper and she looked great in that cause it was anotehr angle… i think whats killing it is the posture and the waistband which for me add tackyness to the ensemble.

  31. nice saree..if only she would get rid of the over straight posture, ott belt and cheap purse. that would be nice. like the earrings. its her sisters wedding, so a bit of bling doesn’t do any harm

  32. hahaha..I agree with someone who said she looks like she’s posing for Playboy or some swimsuit calender lol
I like her best in the lehenga…he jewellery is great and posture normal:D

  33. I don’t think she looks trashy at all, but that pose has to go. It in fact feels like we are noticing how beautiful she is, maybe the other times her clothes take away from her face.
I like the first two looks; in the third one, I only like the sari, excluding the blouse.

  34. isnt it amazing how good she looks for her age? i love how she shows her stretchmarks off. has given me the courage to do the same after my two kids.

its quite sad how most mothers her age are getting tummy tucks and boob jobs and are just unable to get back into shape and learn to live with what remains of the scars…. quite pathetic.

i dont always appreciate her taste in clothes. i but i totally appreciate her enthusiasm and confidence. you go malaika!!!

  35. @ the mad momma – I totally agree with you! It really doesn’t matter to me what she wears, but her confidence is what truly makes her sexy! And she’s defo a hot MOMMA!

IMO She’s the best looking lady in bollywood, and looks better then women 10+ years younger than her.

She was a former model people…maybe that’s why she actually knows how to pose right

  36. LOL at people saying looks like a ‘playmate’ for posing like that.

Her pose shows her confidence and what’s wrong with showing off a bit? Everyone knows she loves to flaunt her sexy self.

I mean look at how other bollywood women pose, they’re usually hunched over or holding their purses uncomfortably waiting for someone to notice them.

  37. what is up with her, some days she is all westren and doesn’t give a dumb about her indian heritage and here she is wearing the traditional outfits with all the necessary jewelries from earrings to that belt around her sari and she is wearing a Sindor lol makeup your mind woman

What’s the big deal anyway…everyone has them, she just doesn’t give a care and good for her
