Am almost certain I will be skewered for admitting ( 😛 ) to liking Amrita’s velvet anarkali. My reasoning behind it is that most of the velvet creations we’ve seen is created with clashing colors and patterns and in Amrita’s case the monochromatic doesn’t look as much of an eye-sore. Oh well, might just be me.
White is a look that always looks great on Karisma and this one was no different. The one that I liked the least was Sophie. With the kurta so bright, a more toned down color for the churidaars might have been the way to go.

Payal, I too was surprised that I liked Amrita’s velvet outfit.
Sophie’s pose looks like she just want to show her clutch but her clothes are so OTT……Karishma looks washed out in that make-up— a dark coloured lips would have looked great………Amrita looks really nice in that VELVET anarkali.

I agree: I like Amrita’s outfit as well (except for the fugly clutch). I love how proportionate Karisma’s look is; INHO this lady can’t go wrong. Sophie should take some lessons in style from KK 🙂

Oh Karishma… she looks so flawless, so perfect. She wins this round by leaps and bounds. A certain Mrs. B could do well to learn some tips from her.
I really wished Amrita’s wasn’t velvet. Sophie’s anarkali is too blingy; not her best appearance.I like her clutch though. Karisma looks the best; vision in white!

no ur rite.it actually looks quite nice. think she’s one of the few or the only one to have done it rite, velvet use that is. karishma’s is meh..too matchy matchy. Shopie’s the one that should be skewered n roasted as an eggplant for the shaadi!

I like the white outfit and Karisma looks lovely in white i am not a fan of velvet although it is every where Sophie is wearing a sherwani wish it was a bit longer but her hair and make up as usual is lovely
Karisma sure is a vision in white. Its always a pleasure to see her as she is immaculately turned out always. Understated elegance! I dont mind Amrita’s velvet either – she pulls it off, not sure how it looked in real life though.
Karisma is the best dressed amongst the lot .. love her outfit, sandals and jewellery. Just wish that since it was a reception she had opted for darker lip shade.
Also like Amrita’s outfit. The churidar should have had better fitting, especially around the ankles. Also would have loved to c dull gold delicate stilettos rather than maroon peep-toes.
